MASTERCLASS MIRAMIDA Eight weeks online programme, April 2nd – May 21st 2026
MIRamiDA exists since 1995, in the form of the First Peacebuilding Trainings in Post-Yu countries.
Under this name, a wide-ranging program of education, media programs, meetings in post-Yu areas and Ukraine was held, with several thousand participants. Online webinars for international participants since 2021.
As the crown of this activity and experience, this masterclass was formulated, intended for all who are ready to seriously discuss issues of peace, non-violence, personal growth, living without fear, civic responsibility, human rights – in a group led by a peace teacher with 33 years of experience in regional and international peace work and education. The first group of the Masterclass program just finished a two-month online program, with participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Canada and Croatia.
The basic idea of the masterclass is to demystify peace work and the terms we associate with it – dialogue, conflict, intervention, mediation, etc. Upon completion of the program, participants will have:
– a clearer picture of peace work, need for it, our own boundaries, importance of self care and support
– a clearer understanding of their own motivation, desires, plans
– insight into the main dilemmas of peace work in this region and beyond and how to deal with them
– access to new insights, contacts, further training
– the opportunity to organize a workshop for their group
The methodology is participatory, inclusive, experiential – a combination of conversations, storytelling, coaching, mentoring, presentations, homework. The approach is peaceful, consensual, the trainer is in charge of the process and constantly monitors the needs of the group. Meetings take place once a week in two-hour sessions for two months, on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. A willingness to work in a group and a sense of the needs of all group members is needed for participation. Also, prior knowledge is more than desirable, this is an advanced program.
The registration fee includes the possibility of one INDIVIDUAL appointment with a teacher (45 minutes). After completing the cycle, you will receive a Certificate of Successful Attendance. The registration fee for the online program (conducted via the Zoom application) is 200 EUR for all those who can pay. If your motivation is high and finances are an issue please write in application form, we’ll do our best. Those who register will be issued a fiscal invoice. The group will be filled in the order of accepted applications, and will have a maximum of eight people.
